Computer Mice

I've been through a lot of computer mice and I mean A LOT! My old favorite used to be the Logitech M510. Loved the weight, grip, and side buttons. Sadly, this mouse would be cursed with super cheap switches (the buttons for the clickers) that were always prone to break. I went through 3 of these mice because of how much I genuinely loved them.

Eventually I gave up on the M510 and went through a short period with a terrible cheap wireless mouse for about a year.

Then came the Logitech MX Master 3s. Now THIS was a nice computer mouse. It was weighted just the way I like it and has a really comfy thumb-rest and two scroll wheel modes. It was very premium! However, it had a severe Achilles heel... THE SWITCHES WERE STILL CHEAP!!! The switches would malfunction AGAIN just like the M510. I was in disbelief because I thought since it had a premium price they'd at least get switches that would last.

After the disaster of the MX Master 3s, I was lucky to find an MSI Clutch GM08 at a thrift store. A fairly okay wired mouse that I eventually got used to. Of course with my luck with mice, there was still one thing holding this mouse back... the dreaded scroll wheel. This thing would jump around for absolutely no reason. I couldn't use the scroll wheel at all. I tried disassembling it and cleaning it but nothing would fix it. I just had to live with it...

But then... this year I finally gave in and bought the OP1 8K v2. This mouse from Endgame Gear is incredibly highly regarded as a top tier mouse. Heck, I thought people were saying "Endgame Gear" as an adjective to describe the mouse itself!

Using this mouse has been an absolute dream. Super customizable sensitivity, the switches are so quiet yet durable, side buttons, and the SCROLL WHEEL WORKS!!! It's actually a dust-proof scroll wheel meaning it theoretically should never malfunction! It's also visually like an office mouse. I really hate the crazy designs and RGB lighting in "gaming" mice. Also, the entire mouse is built for modding and repairability which is so awesome. I'm going to have this mouse for the rest of my life.
