When I dropped out of art school in 2018, I felt like my creative drive has been slowly depleting ever since. Increasing gaps between drawing sessions and less drive to improve and practice.
In high school I was pretty much sketching every day. I remember wanting to get better at drawing hands so I decided to just draw hands every day. Doing that seriously paid off but I think people around thought I had a thing for hands. "( – ⤙ – )
Right now, something just feels different. Did art school kill my spirit? Maybe... but it doesn't really matter!
For a few years I've been trying to figure out how to become more productive and consistent with my art. Since I'll be carrying a notebook everywhere now, I hope I can start sketching more often. I might even show some highlights on my blog!
