Flowers for Lucia

I'm old...

My New Year's resolutions have seem to become more cliché. I want to sleep earlier, read more books, write more letters, run regularly, a lot of boring stuff. I guess it comes with getting older. Even the stuff I want on my wish list are also fairly dull. I've been looking into getting a nice eReader for myself but they're so expensive! I prefer reading physical books but I also don't have the money to buy all the books I want.

Speaking of technology, I've been trying to get off my phone more. My game plan is to take everything my phone does and split it into separate devices. I want my daily carry to be: a camera, an MP3 player, a notebook, and a little gaming device. Being more purposeful with how I pass the time seems like the solution for dopamine addiction. It seems like a step backward in the evolution of tech but maybe that's not such a bad thing.

This is my awesome DSi that I was able to grab at a flea market for only $20! I let my sister swag it out with cute stickers for me because she's the master at sticker bombing devices.

This is her DS Light she got from the Facebook Marketplace!

Last Christmas my parents got me a PS Vita. I've been really happy with it and there are so many underrated gems on this device.

I've got the small gaming devices, notebooks, and even a little digicam, so now I need to grab an MP3 player (or DAP as the audiophiles call it). I'd really like to get an old iPod but I want something that's easy to repair and has good battery life. There's an iPod clone I know of that's out right now but I'm still unsure about it.

It's called the Innioasis Y1. It supports all the file formats I want but what I really wanna know is how the general user experience is like. I wonder if Best Buy has it out for display. Do tech stores still do that? Gosh I really am old...(´∇`'')
